샬롬 사랑하는 친구들
As King David approached the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem a man from Saul's clan named Shimei came out cursed him and threw rocks at David and his men. At this, David's trusted military leader, Abishai, offered to cut off Shimeis head; 2Sam. 16:5.
David did not kill Shimei because God showed him something in the Spirit. A direct descendent of Shimei would be Mordecai; Esther 2:5. If he had cut off Shimei's head, the future of the Jews would also be cut off.
다윗 왕이 예루살렘의 감람산 가까이에 이르렀을 때쯤 사울의 가계의 시므이라는 자가 나와서 다윗을 욕하고 그와 그 수행원들에게 돌을 던졌습니다. 이것을 보고 다윗의 심복이자 군대장관인 아비새가 머리를 베어오게 허락해 달라 합니다. 사무엘하 16:5
하지만 다윗은 하나님께서 성령으로 어떤 것을 마음에 주셨기에 시므이를 죽이지 않았습니다. 시므이와 아주 유사한 예를 찾자면 에스더서 2장 5절의 모르드게를 들 수 있습니다. 다윗이 만약 시므이의 머리를 베었다면, 유대의 미래 역시 잘라졌을 겁니다.
The Lord also showed me something, personally, in the spirit in regards to the future of the city of Acco and Israel. According to His word, those whom are cursing us (believers) will be those who are standing with us as sons of God.
하나님께서 저에게 성령님을 통해 이스라엘과 악고시에 관한 것을 보여주셨습니다. 주님의 말씀에 따르면 지금 우리(예수님 믿는 유대인들)를 저주하는 세력은 나중에 우리와 함께 하나님의 아들이라 일컬음을 받을 자들이란 것입니다.
We as believers, have much work to do in this chapter of history before we arrive at the day that we will say, "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord". Many projects are on the way that will directly affect the lives of the congregation and the city before us. Some of these are brothers teaching each other through discipleship, strengthening their foundation of faith; Projects of evangelism in coordination with other organizations in the city of Acco; and a Yeshua DVD. We are living in exciting times brothers and sisters, as we together, participate in this work, we look to bear much good fruit in the lives of those we touch through Yeshua.
우리는 믿는 성도로서 유대인들이 “찬송하리로다 주의 이름으로 오시는 이여”라고 고백하게 될 다가올 중요한 시대에 정말로 준비해야 할 일들이 많습니다. 우리의 시와 교회에 중대한 영향을 미치게 될 여러가지 사역 프로젝트들이 진행되고 있습니다. 이 중의 하나는 형제들끼리 서로의 믿음을 강화하며 제자도를 서로 가르치는 것입니다. 복음 전파 사역과 예수님 관련 DVD 제작은 악고시의 다른 단체들과 연계하여 진행하고 있습니다. 형제 자매 여러분, 우리는 현재 아주 신나는 시기에 살고 있습니다. 우리가 함께 이 모든 일들에 동참함으로써 예수 그리스도안에서 훌륭한 열매들이 맺힐 것을 믿어 의심치 않습니다.
When we began, we were a small group that would grow from time to time. Today we are at the point that we are outgrowing our congregational building.
Therefore we are in the process of building and renovating a bigger building that can accommodate our present and future growth.
우리가 처음 시작했을 때엔, 우리는 아주 더디게 자라는 조그만 그룹이였을 뿐입니다. 하지만 오늘날 우리는 교회 건물이 비좁아 질만큼 성도수가 많아지고 있습니다.
그래서 우리는 계속 자라나는 교회 공동체를 수용할 수 있는 건물을 확장 건축하는 일을 추진하고 있습니다.
God has blessed us with this building, but it requires a large investment of money, manpower and monthly income. Presently, we cannot afford to fully renovate the building. Therefore I have decided to slow down and hold onto the money that we have. We want to be good stewards of the money that God has entrusted to us.
하나님께서는 당신의 축복으로 이 건물을 우리에게 허락하셨습니다. 하지만 이 재건축에는 많은 투자와 인력과 월별 수입이 요구됩니다. 그래서 저는 당분간 이 작업의 진행속도를 조금 늦추고 우리가 가진 것을 돌아보기로 했습니다. 우리는 하나님께서 우리에게 허락하신 재정의 좋은 청지기가 되기 원하기 때문입니다.
I don't want to find the congregation in a situation like Jehoshaphat was in, setting sail with a fleet of ships to go for gold, only to have them wrecked before they even set sail; 1Kings 22:48. At this juncture I see no point in investing everything we have only to have it likewise sink. Prov. 24:3 says, "By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established". Please pray for wisdom for us.
저는 우리 교회가 마치 열왕기상 22장 48절에서의 여호사밧왕의 배들처럼 금을 취하러 간다며 잔뜩 기대에 부풀어 있다가 출항하기도 전에 모두 난파되어 버리는 상황에 가도록 만들 수는 없기 때문입니다. 이런 중대한 시점에 주님께서 우리에게 맡겨 주신 모든 재정을 헛되이 날려 버릴 순 없지 않겠습니까. 잠언 24장 3절 처럼,“집은 지혜로 말미암아 건축되고 명철로 말미암아 견고히 되”기 때문이죠. 우리에게 합당한 지혜가 주어지기를 기도하여 주세요.
***On May 2nd 2008 we will be having a building dedication. We are celebrating 3 years from the start of Katzir Asher, and 60 years from the establishment of Israel. We welcome and hope to see you at the dedication event. I know that the building will not look perfect, but in the eyes of God we are made perfect. Please come and join us. Details will follow as the day draws near.
2008년 5월 2일에는 건물 봉헌식이 있을 예정입니다. 우리는 카치르 아쉐르 시작 3주년이자 이스라엘 건국 60주년을 맞이합니다. 우리는 봉헌식에 여러분을 초대하고 또 여러분을 볼 수 있기를 소망합니다. 저는 이 건물이 아직은 미완성임을 알고 있습니다만 주님의 눈에 우리는 모두 온전할 수 있음을 믿습니다. 우리와 함께해 주세요. 더 자세한 사항은 시일이 다가올 수록 추가적으로 전해 드리겠습니다.
