히브리서 12:1-4
1 이렇게 많은 증인들이 구름처럼 우리를 둘러싸고 있으니 우리도 온갖 무거운 짐과 우리를 얽어매는 죄를 벗어버리고 우리가 달려야 할 길을 꾸준히 달려갑시다.  Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
2 그리고 우리의 믿음의 근원이시며 완성자이신 예수만을 바라봅시다. 그분은 장차 누릴 기쁨을 생각하며 부끄러움도 상관하지 않고 십자가의 고통을 견디어 내시고 지금은 하나님의 옥좌 오른편에 앉아 계십니다. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 죄인들에게서 이렇듯 심한 미움을 받으시고도 참아 내신 그분을 생각해 보시오. 그러면 여러분은 지치거나 낙심하는 일이 없을 것입니다. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
4 여러분은 죄와 맞서 싸우면서 아직까지 피를 흘린 일은 없습니다.
In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.

시편 22:26-31
26 가난한 사람 배불리 먹고 야훼를 찾는 사람은 그를 찬송하리니 그들 마음 길이 번영하리라
The poor will eat and be satisfied; they who seek the LORD will praise him--may your hearts live forever!
27 온 세상이 야훼를 생각하여 돌아오고 만백성 모든 가문이 그 앞에 경배하리니
All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him,
28 만방을 다스리시는 이 왕권이 야훼께 있으리라.
for dominion belongs to the LORD and he rules over the nations.
29 땅 속의 기름진 자들도 그 앞에 엎드리고 먼지 속에 내려 간 자들도 그 앞에 머리를 조아리리라. 이 몸은 주님 덕분에 살고,  All the rich of the earth will feast and worship; all who go down to the dust will kneel before him--those who cannot keep themselves alive.
30 오고 오는 후손들이 그를 섬기며 그 이름을 세세 대대로 전하리라.
Posterity will serve him; future generations will be told about the Lord.
31 주께서 건져 주신 이 모든 일들은 오고 오는 세대에 일러 주리라.
They will proclaim his righteousness to a people yet unborn--for he has done it.

마르코 복음 5:21-43
21 예수께서 배를 타고 건너편으로 다시 가시자 많은 사람들이 또 모여들었다. 예수께서 호숫가에 계셨을 때에  When Jesus had again crossed over by boat to the other side of the lake, a large crowd gathered around him while he was by the lake.
22 야이로라 하는 한 회당장이 와서 예수를 뵙고 그 발 앞에 엎드려
Then one of the synagogue rulers, named Jairus, came there. Seeing Jesus, he fell at his feet
23 "제 어린 딸이 다 죽게 되었습니다. 제 집에 오셔서 그 아이에게 손을 얹어 병을 고쳐 살려 주십시오" 하고 애원하였다. 그래서 예수께서는 그를 따라 나서시었다.  
and pleaded earnestly with him, "My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live."
24 그 때에 많은 사람들이 예수를 둘러싸고 밀어 대며 따라 갔다.
So Jesus went with him. A large crowd followed and pressed around him.
25 그런데 군중 속에는 열 두 해 동안이나 하혈증으로 앓고 있던 여자가 있었다.
And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years.
26 그 여자는 여러 의사에게 보이느라고 고생만 하고 가산마저 탕진했는데도 아무 효험도 없이 오히려 병은 점점 더 심해졌다.  She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse.
27 그러던 차에 예수의 소문을 듣고 군중 속에 끼어 따라 가다가 뒤에서 예수의 옷에 손을 대었다.
When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak,
28 그 옷에 손을 대기만 해도 병이 나으리라고 생각하였던 것이다.
because she thought, "If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed."
29 손을 대자마자 그 여자는 과연 출혈이 그치고 병이 나은 것을 스스로 알 수 있었다.
Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.
30 예수께서는 곧 자기에게서 기적의 힘이 나간 것을 아시고 돌아서서 군중을 둘러보시며 "누가 내 옷에 손을 대었느냐?" 하고 물으셨다. At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, "Who touched my clothes?"
31 제자들은 "누가 손을 대다니요? 보시다시피 이렇게 군중이 사방에서 밀어 대고 있지 않습니까?" 하고 반문하였다. "You see the people crowding against you," his disciples answered, "and yet you can ask, 'Who touched me?'"
32 그러나 예수께서는 둘러보시며 옷에 손을 댄 여자를 찾으셨다.
But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it.
33 그 여자는 자기 몸에 일어나 일을 알았기 때문에 두려워 떨며 예수 앞에 엎드려 사실대로 말씀드렸다.  Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth.
34 예수께서는 그 여자에게 "여인아, 네 믿음이 너를 살렸다. 병이 완전히 나았으니 안심하고 가거라" 하고 말씀하셨다.  He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering."
35 예수의 말씀이 채 끝나기도 전에 회당장의 집에서 사람들이 와서 회당장에게 "따님이 죽었습니다. 그러니 저 선생님께 더 폐를 끼쳐 드릴 필요가 있겠습니까?" 하고 말하였다.
While Jesus was still speaking, some men came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue ruler. "Your daughter is dead," they said. "Why bother the teacher any more?"
36 예수께서는 이 말을 들은 체도 아니하시고 회당장에게 "걱정하지 말고 믿기만 하여라" 하고 말씀하셨다.
Ignoring what they said, Jesus told the synagogue ruler, "Don't be afraid; just believe."
37 그리고 베드로와 야고보와 야고보의 동생 요한 외에는 아무도 따라 오지 못하게 하시고
He did not let anyone follow him except Peter, James and John the brother of James.
38 회당장의 집으로 가셨다. 예수께서는 거기서 사람들이 울며불며 떠드는 것을 보시고
When they came to the home of the synagogue ruler, Jesus saw a commotion, with people crying and wailing loudly.
39 집 안으로 들어 가셔서 그들에게 "왜 떠들며 울고 있느냐? 그 아이는 죽은 것이 아니라 잠을 자고 있다" 하고 말씀하셨다. He went in and said to them, "Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep."
40 그들은 코웃음만 쳤다. 예수께서는 그들을 다 내보내신 다음에 아이의 보모와 세 제자만 데리시고 아이가 누워 있는 방에 들어 가셨다.
But they laughed at him. After he put them all out, he took the child's father and mother and the disciples who were with him, and went in where the child was.
41 그리고 아이의 손을 잡고 "탈리다 쿰" 하고 말씀하셨다. 이 말은 "소녀야, 어서 일어나거나" 라는 뜻이다.  He took her by the hand and said to her, "Talitha koum!" (which means, "Little girl, I say to you, get up!").
42 그러자 소녀는 곧 일어나서 걸어 다녔다. 소녀의 나이는 열 두 살이었다. 이 광경을 본 사람들은 놀라 마지않았다.  Immediately the girl stood up and walked around (she was twelve years old). At this they were completely astonished.
43 예수께서는 그들에게 이 일을 아무에게도 알리지 말라고 엄하게 이르시고 소녀에게 먹을 것을 주라고 하셨다.  He gave strict orders not to let anyone know about this, and told them to give her something to eat.


+ 예수께서는 그 여자에게 "여인아, 네 믿음이 너를 살렸다. 병이 완전히 나았으니 안심하고 가거라" 하고 말씀하셨다.  He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering."
오늘은 특별히 임의성교우님의 치유를 위해서 기도합니다. 우리의 믿음을 통하여 마태교우님이 온전히 회복되시기를 우리 함께 간절히 기도합시다. 여호와 라파!
