Dear Friends.....


I have several testimonies and updates to pass on in this email, some from me and some from our Area Directors...

From me:

1. I met with our staff today and our weekly deposits have almost doubled the last few weeks when compared to earlier in 2009. Thank you so much for praying and giving and walking with us!

2. The web site, new version, will launch next week (God willing!). I spent most of Tuesday writing and writing and writing....

3. Pray for "Sanu-ali" (not his real name). This man is a Muslim who now knows Jesus, but lives and works in an extremely hostile area among people who are members of "cells". He carries a Quran around with him, but his is different: he has taken pages from the Bible and inserted them into his Quran to meditate upon and memorize. He then teaches these pages to other believers from memory and they memorize them as well.

I would like to share two testimonies from Asia:

To An Hi:

To An Hi, who is our Vietnam Coordinator, is working on preparations to start a training center for training church leaders. Meanwhile, he had a chance to meet with a businessmen’s group and share the Gospel with them. The following is what he sent me…

“PTL! THERE ARE MORE 14 BUSINESSMENS RECEIVED JESUS CHRIST AS THEIR SAVIOR. HALELUJAH!  AND THERE ARE A LOT OF STUDENTS [who] WANT TO REGISTER IN THIS PROGRAM. I AM IN PROCESSING TO COMPLETE THE FILE STUDENTS. I WILL SEND TO YOU SOON.”    

The Discipleship Training Center of Global Teams held the first school last September through early December. We had five students from 4 countries.

Di Nguyen, who graduated from this school and stayed three months more to visit her relatives and friends, sent us what happened through her trips…

“Praise the Lord, Trang's sister accepted to Jesus, please keep praying for her and her family.  And I feel happy now, because I already talked about Jesus to my aunt and my cousin.  Even though they have not accepted to Jesus yet, but I thank you God because whenever I talked, they listened to me, they didn't shout at me like my cousin threaten me before I came here, he said to me that " when you come here, don't say anything about Jesus". But last week, my cousin agreed to go to the church with me.”

From Bryson Samboja (Africa Director)

Testimonies from Africa:

One of the stories I have is in regards to a man known as Mr. Kiboyo. Mr. Kiboyo is not a convert. He has had a sick wife for 18 years. He tried hospitals and even medicine men, but all was in vain. When my evangelist visited the family and prayed over her healing at a time when her sickness was becoming worse (because she was in a state where she was unable to eat and drink), immediately after, that evil spirit left her and she began to eat and drink again!

The man, seeing what the Lord did to his dear wife, he donated a portion of his plot (land) for worshiping God. As I write, my evangelist has gone to the place to help the community start a Worshiping Center there. At the moment they will be worshiping under a tree but have asked me if I could provide a few pews or chairs for them. I am praying for either providing some timbers for the pews or ten chairs to start with, at a cost of ten dollars each, including transport.

There is a lot of belief in witchcraft in the area. People seem to be tired of what is happening in their midst and are calling us to go and exorcise these evil spirits. Let me just give you a hint of what is happening in the area:


There is a boy who people believe has been circumcised by evil spirits in a dream.



This is what happened: In a dream at night the boy saw a man who soon disappeared. Because of great fear the boy called his Mum but his Mum was unable to see anybody. Two days passed and everything seemed to be okay and on the 3rd day the boy slept very well without any nightmares. However, when he woke up in the morning he had a lot of pains in his private parts. He called his mum and the mum discovered that her boy was circumcised by evil spirits during the night.

From Orlando Otarola, (Latin America Director)


Latin America Testimony:

The Soto family, 2 adults and 2 children, were ready to go on their short-term trip in the month of February. They live on an island called Venado, in Costa Rica. They live by faith, literally.  The Soto family needed $10,000 to go on this trip. After hard work and great effort, we had only been able to raise 50% of their budget. Herbert Soto's words to me (Latin America Director) were: "I don't know what else to do. I don't know who to go to. There's nothing else I can do. What do you think?" I answered:  "Let's ask God for a financial miracle."

So we did! A few days after praying, I got a phone call from Herbert saying, "Pastor, a miracle has taken place! There is $6,000 coming from the United States for our trip to India!" Finally, they were able to raise $11,000 for their short-term trip. They are back from India now and visited the city of Kolkata and Bihar. They are already getting ready to go back long term.
