예레미야 23:1-6
1 "이 저주받은 것들아, 양떼를 죽이고 흩뜨러 버리는 목자라는 것들아, 야훼의 말을 들어라.
"Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of my pasture!" declares the LORD.
2 내 백성을 칠 목자들에게 이스라엘의 하나님으로서 말한다. 내 양떼를 돌보아야 할 너희가 도리어 흩뜨려서 헤매게 하니, 너희의 그 괘씸한 소행을 어찌 벌하지 않고 두겠느냐! 똑똑히 들어라.
Therefore this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says to the shepherds who tend my people: "Because you have scattered my flock and driven them away and have not bestowed care on them, I will bestow punishment on you for the evil you have done," declares the LORD.
3 나 비록 나의 양떼를 이 나라 저 나라로 헤매게 하였지만, 그 중에서 살아 남은 것을 모든 나라에서 본래의 목장으로 다시 모아들여 크게 불어나게 할 것이며,
"I myself will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and will bring them back to their pasture, where they will be fruitful and increase in number.
4 그들을 위하여 참 목자들을 세워 주리라. 그러면 내 양떼는 겁이 나서 무서워 떠는 일 없이 살 것이며, 하나도 잃어버리지 아니하리라. 이는 내 말이라, 어김이 없다.
I will place shepherds over them who will tend them, and they will no longer be afraid or terrified, nor will any be missing," declares the LORD.
5 내가 다윗의 정통 왕손을 일으킨 그 날은 오고야 만다. 이는 내 말이라, 어김이 없다. 그는 현명한 왕으로서 세상에 올바른 정치를 펴리라.
"The days are coming," declares the LORD, "when I will raise up to David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land.
6 그를 왕으로 모시고 유다와 이스라엘은 살 길이 열려 마음놓고 살게 되리라. '야훼 우리를 되살려 주시는 이' 라는 이름으로 그를 부르리라.
In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety. This is the name by which he will be called: The LORD Our Righteousness.

시편 23
1 야훼는 나의 목자, 아쉬울 것 없어라. 푸른 풀밭에 누워 놀게 하시고
A psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
2 물가로 이끌어 쉬게 하시니
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 지쳤던 이 몸에 생기가 넘친다. 그 이름 목자이시니 인도하시는 길, 언제나 곧은 길이요,
he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 나 비록 음산한 죽음의 골짜기를 지날지라도 내 곁에 주님 계시오니 무서울 것 없어라. 막대기와 지팡이로 인도하시니 걱정할 것 없어라.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
5 원수들 보라는 듯 상을 차려 주시고, 기름부어 내 머리에 발라 주시니, 내 잔이 넘치옵니다.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
6 한평생 은총과 복에 겨워 사는 이 몸, 영원히 주님 집에 거하리이다.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

에페소서 2:11-22
11 이방인으로 태어난 여러분, 지난 날을 생각해 보십시오. 여러분은 단지 몸에다 사람의 손으로 행하는 할례를 받은 소위 할례자들로 부터 할례받지 않은 사람들이라는 말을 들었습니다.
Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called "uncircumcised" by those who call themselves "the circumcision" (that done in the body by the hands of men)--
12 그 때 여러분은 그리스도와는 아무 관계도 없었고 이스라엘 시민권도 없는 외국인으로서 약속의 계약에서 제외된 채 이 세상에서 희망도, 하나님도 없이 살아 온 사람들이었습니다.
remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.
13 이렇게 여러분이 전에는 하나님과 멀리 떨어져 있었지만 이제는 그리스도께서 피를 흘리심으로써 그리스도 예수를 말미암아 하나님과 가까워졌습니다. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.
14 그리스도야말로 우리의 평화이십니다. 그분은 자신의 몸을 바쳐서 유다인과 이방인이 서로 원수가 되어 갈리게 했던 담을 헐어 버리시고 그들을 화해시켜 하나로 만드시고
For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility,
15 율법 조문과 규정을 모두 폐지하셨습니다. 그리스도께서는 자신을 희생하여 유다인과 이방인을 하나의 새 민족으로 만들어 평화를 이룩하시고
by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace,
16 또 십자가에서 죽으심으로써 둘을 한 몸으로 만드셔서 하나님과 화해시키고 원수되었던 모든 요소를 없이하셨습니다.
and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.
17 이렇게 그리스도께서는 세상에 오셔서 하나님과 멀리 떨어져 있던여러분과 우리 유다인들은 모두 그리스도로 말미암아 같은 성령을받아 아버지께로 가까이 나아가게 되었습니다.
He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.
18 그래서 이방인 여러분과 우리 유다인들은 모두 그리스도로 말미암아 같은 성령을 받아 아버지께로 가까이 나아가게 되었습니다.
For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.
19 이제 여러분은 외국인도 아니고 나그네도 아닙니다. 성도들과 같은 한 시민이며 하나님의 한 가족입니다. Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household,
20 여러분이 건물이라면 그리스도께서는 그 건물의 가장 요긴한 모퉁이돌이 되시며 사도들과 예언자들은 그 건물의 기초가 됩니다.
built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.
21 온 건물은 이 모퉁이돌을 중심으로 서로 연결되고 점점 커져서 주님의 거룩한 성전이 됩니다.
In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.
22 여러분도 이 모퉁이돌을 중심으로 함께 세워져서 신령한 하나님의집이 되는 것입니다.
And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

마르코복음 6:30-34, 53-56
30 사도들이 돌아 와서 자기들이 한 일과 가르친 것을 예수께 낱낱이 보고하였다.
The apostles gathered around Jesus and reported to him all they had done and taught.
31 예수께서는 제자들에게 "따로 한적한 곳으로 가서 함께 좀 쉬자" 고 말씀하셨다. 찾아 오는 사람이 너무 많아서 그들은 음식을 먹을 겨를조차 없었던 것이다.
Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest."
32 예수의 일행은 배를 타고 따로 한적한 곳을 찾아 떠났다.
So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place.
33 그런데 사람들은 그 일행이 떠나는 것을 보고 그들이 예수의 일행이라는 것을 알고는 여러 동네에서 모두 달려나와 육로로 해서 그들을 앞질러 그 곳에 갔다.
But many who saw them leaving recognized them and ran on foot from all the towns and got there ahead of them.
34 예수께서 배에 내려 군중이 많이 모여 있는 것을 보시고 목자 없는 양과 같은 그들을 측은히 여기시어 여러 가지로 가르쳐 주셨다.
When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.
53 그들은 바다를 건너 겐네사렛 땅에 배를 대었다.
When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret and anchored there.
54 그들이 배에서 내리자 사람들은 예수를 알아 보고
As soon as they got out of the boat, people recognized Jesus.
55 그 근처 온 지방을 뛰어 다니면서 병자들을 요에 눕혀 가지고 예수가 계시다는 곳을 찾아 그리로 데려 왔다.
They ran throughout that whole region and carried the sick on mats to wherever they heard he was.
56 마을이나 도시나 농촌이나 어디든지 예수께서 가시기만 하면 사람들은 병자들을 장터에 데려다 놓고 그 옷자락만이라도 만지게 해 달라고 간청하였다. 그리고 손을 댄 사람은 모두 나았다.
And wherever he went--into villages, towns or countryside--they placed the sick in the marketplaces. They begged him to let them touch even the edge of his cloak, and all who touched him were healed.
