사도행전 4:13-21
13 그들은 베드로와 요한이 본래 배운 것이 없는 천한 사람인 줄 알았는데 이렇게 자신있게 말하는 것을 보고 깜짝 놀랐다. 그리고그 두 사도가 예수를 따라 다니던 사람이라는 것도 알게 되었다.
When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.
14 그러나 전에 불구자였던 사람이 성한 몸으로 그 자리에 서 있는 것을 보고는 아무 말도 하지 못하였다. But since they could see the man who had been healed standing there with them, there was nothing they could say.
15 그래서 그들은 베드로와 요한을 의회에서 나가게 한 다음 자기네끼리 대책을 의논하였다.
So they ordered them to withdraw from the Sanhedrin and then conferred together.
16 "저 사람들을 어떻게 하면 좋겠습니까? 저 사람들이 놀라운 기적을 나타냈다는 사실은 예루살렘에 사는 사람이면 다 아는 터이고 우리도 또한 그것을 부정할 수가 없습니다.
"What are we going to do with these men?" they asked. "Everybody living in Jerusalem knows they have done an outstanding miracle, and we cannot deny it.
17 이 일이 사람들에게 더 퍼져 나가서는 안 되겠으니 다시는 아무에게도 예수의 이름으로 말하지 말라고 그들에게 단단히 경고해 둡시다." But to stop this thing from spreading any further among the people, we must warn these men to speak no longer to anyone in this name."
18 그리고 두 사도를 다시 불러 들여 예수의 이름으로는 절대로 말하지도 말고 가르치지도 말라고 명령하였다. Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus.
19 그러나 베드로와 요한은 그들에게 "우리가 하나님의 말씀보다 당신들의 말을 듣는 것이 하나님 보시기에 옳은 일이겠는지 한번 판단해 보시오. But Peter and John replied, "Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God's sight to obey you rather than God.
20 우리는 보고 들은 것을 말하지 않을 수가 없습니다." 하고 대답하였다.
For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard."
21 그들은 백성들이 그 기적을 보고 모두 하나님을 찬양하고 있었기 때문에 두 사도를 처벌할 도리가 없어 다시 한번 경고하고 나서 놓아 주었다. After further threats they let them go. They could not decide how to punish them, because all the people were praising God for what had happened.

시편 118:1-4, 14-21
1 야훼께 감사노래 불러라, 그는 어지시다. 그의 사랑 영원하시다.
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
2 이스라엘 문중아, 노래불러라. "그의 사랑 영원하시다."
Let Israel say: "His love endures forever."
3 아론 문중아, 노래불러아. "그의 사랑 영원하시다."
Let the house of Aaron say: "His love endures forever."
4 야훼를 경외하는 자들아 노래불러라. "그의 사랑 영원하시다."
Let those who fear the LORD say: "His love endures forever."

14 야훼는 나의 힘, 나의 노래, 나의 구원이시다.
The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.
15 의로운 사람들의 집집에서 터져 나오는 저 승리의 함성. "야훼의 오른손이 힘을 떨치셨다!
Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: "The LORD'S right hand has done mighty things!
16 야훼의 오른손이 번쩍 들렸다! 야훼의 오른손이 힘을 떨치셨다!"
The LORD'S right hand is lifted high; the LORD'S right hand has done mighty things!"
17 나는 죽지 않고 살아서 야훼께서 하신 일을 널리 선포하리라.
I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done.
18 야훼께서는 나를 벌하시고 또 벌하셨지만 그러나 죽게 버려 두지는 아니하셨다.
The LORD has chastened me severely, but he has not given me over to death.
19 정의의 문을 열어라. 내가 들어 가 야훼께 감사기도 드리리라.
Open for me the gates of righteousness; I will enter and give thanks to the LORD.
20 이것이 야훼의 문, 의인들이 이리로 들어가리라.
This is the gate of the LORD through which the righteous may enter.
21 나의 기도 들으시고 나를 구해 주셨으니 주님께 감사기도 드립니다.
I will give you thanks, for you answered me; you have become my salvation.

마르코복음 16:9-15
9 일요일 이른 아침, 예수께서는 부활하신 뒤 막달라 여자 마리아에게 처음으로 나타나셨는데 그는 예수께서 일찌기 일곱 마귀를 쫓아내어 주셨던 여자였다. The most reliable early manuscripts and other ancient witnesses do not have Mark 16:9-20. When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons.
10 마리아는 예수를 따르던 사람들이 슬퍼하며 울고 있는 곳으로 찾아 가 이 소식을 전해 주었다.
She went and told those who had been with him and who were mourning and weeping.
11 그러나 그들은 예수께서 살아 계시다는 것과 그 여자에게 나타나셨다는 말을 듣고도 믿으려 하지 않았다. When they heard that Jesus was alive and that she had seen him, they did not believe it.
12 그 뒤 제자들 가운데 두 사람이 시골로 가고 있을 때에 예수께서 다른 모습으로 그들에게 나타나셨다. Afterward Jesus appeared in a different form to two of them while they were walking in the country.
13 그 두 사람도 돌아 와서 다른 제자들에게 이 소식을 전했으나 그들은 그 말도 믿지 않았다.
These returned and reported it to the rest; but they did not believe them either.
14 그 뒤 열 한 제자가 음식을 먹고 있을 때에 예수께서 나타나셔서 마음이 완고하여 도무지 믿으려 하지 않는 그들을 꾸짖으셨다. 그들은 예수께서 살아 나신 것을 분명히 본 사람들의 말도 믿지 않았던 것이다. Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen.
15 예수께서는 그들에게 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "너희는 온 세상을 두루다니며 모든 사람에게 이 복음을 선포하여라. He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.
