열왕기상 8:1-7, 9-13
1 그리고 나서 솔로몬은 야훼의 계약궤를 시온의 다윗성에서 모셔 오려고 이스라엘의 장로들과 이스라엘 백성 각 가문의 대표들인 지파의 어른들을 예루살렘으로 소집하였다.
Then King Solomon summoned into his presence at Jerusalem the elders of Israel, all the heads of the tribes and the chiefs of the Israelite families, to bring up the ark of the LORD'S covenant from Zion, the City of David.
2 이스라엘 사람들은 모두 제 칠 월인 에다님월 절기에 솔로몬왕 앞으로 모였다.
All the men of Israel came together to King Solomon at the time of the festival in the month of Ethanim, the seventh month.
3 이스라엘의 모든 장로들이 도착하자 사제들이 계약궤를 운반하였다.
When all the elders of Israel had arrived, the priests took up the ark,
4 그들은 야훼의 궤뿐 아니라 만남의 장막과 그 안에 있는 거룩한 각종 기물들을 날랐는데 사제와 레위인들이 그것들을 날랐다.
and they brought up the ark of the LORD and the Tent of Meeting and all the sacred furnishings in it. The priests and Levites carried them up,
5 솔로몬왕과 그 앞에 모인 온 이스라엘 회중이 궤 앞에서 이루 헤아릴 수 없이 많은 양과 소를 잡아 바쳤다. and King Solomon and the entire assembly of Israel that had gathered about him were before the ark, sacrificing so many sheep and cattle that they could not be recorded or counted.
6 그리고 나서 사제들이 야훼의 계약궤를 성전의 밀실, 지성소 거룹의 날개 아래 마련된 자리에 안치해 놓았다. The priests then brought the ark of the LORD'S covenant to its place in the inner sanctuary of the temple, the Most Holy Place, and put it beneath the wings of the cherubim.
7 거룹들은 날개를 궤가 있는 장소 위로 펼쳐서 그 궤와 채 위를 덮었다. The cherubim spread their wings over the place of the ark and overshadowed the ark and its carrying poles.
(8 그 채들은 끝이 밀실 앞 성소에서 보일 정도로 길었다. 그러나 밖에서는 볼 수 없었다. 그 채는 오늘까지 그 곳에 남아 있다.
These poles were so long that their ends could be seen from the Holy Place in front of the inner sanctuary, but not from outside the Holy Place; and they are still there today.)
9 궤 안에는 호렙에서 모세가 넣어 둔 두 돌판 곧, 이스라엘 백성이 에집트에서 나올 때 야훼께서 백성과 맺은 계약의 돌판 외에는 아무 것도 없었다.
There was nothing in the ark except the two stone tablets that Moses had placed in it at Horeb, where the LORD made a covenant with the Israelites after they came out of Egypt.
10 사제들이 성소에서 나올 때 구름이 야훼의 전에 차 있었다.
When the priests withdrew from the Holy Place, the cloud filled the temple of the LORD.
11 사제들은 그 구름이 너무 짙었으므로 서서 일을 볼 수가 없었다. 야훼의 영광이 야훼의 전에 가득 차 있었기 때문이다. And the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled his temple.
12 그런 가운데 솔로몬이 입을 열었다. "야훼께서는 몸소 캄캄한 데 계시겠다고 하셨읍니다.
Then Solomon said, "The LORD has said that he would dwell in a dark cloud;
13 영원히 여기에서 사십시오. 제가 주님을 위하여 이 전을 세웠습니다."
I have indeed built a magnificent temple for you, a place for you to dwell forever."

시편 132:1-9
1 야훼여, 다윗을 생각해 주소서. 얼마나 애썼는지 생각하소서,
A song of ascents. O LORD, remember David and all the hardships he endured.
2 야훼께 맹세하며, 야곱의 전능하신 분께 선서하며 그는 이렇게 말하였습니다.
He swore an oath to the LORD and made a vow to the Mighty One of Jacob:
3 나는 내 집에 들어가지 않겠습니다. 잠자리에 들어 편히 쉴 수도 없습니다.
"I will not enter my house or go to my bed--
4 눈 붙이고 잠들지 못하겠습니다. 눈시울에 선잠조차 붙일 수가 없습니다."
I will allow no sleep to my eyes, no slumber to my eyelids,
5 "야훼 계실 장막을 마련하기까지, 야곱의 전능하신 분이 계실 곳을 찾을 때까지
till I find a place for the LORD, a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob."
6 계약궤가 있다는 말을 에브라다에서 듣고 야알의 들에서 그것을 찾았습니다.
We heard it in Ephrathah, we came upon it in the fields of Jaar:
7 그분 계시는 곳으로 들어가자. 그 발 앞에 엎드려 경배하자.
"Let us go to his dwelling place; let us worship at his footstool--
8 야훼여, 당신 쉬실 곳으로 갑시다. 당신의 힘 깃들인 계약궤와 함께 갑시다.
arise, O LORD, and come to your resting place, you and the ark of your might.
9 당신의 사제들은 정의의 옷 펄럭이고, 당신을 믿는 자들 입에서는 기쁨의 환성이 터지게 하소서.
May your priests be clothed with righteousness; may your saints sing for joy."

마르코복음 6:53-56
53 그들은 바다를 건너 겐네사렛 땅에 배를 대었다.
When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret and anchored there.
54 그들이 배에서 내리자 사람들은 예수를 알아 보고
As soon as they got out of the boat, people recognized Jesus.
55 그 근처 온 지방을 뛰어 다니면서 병자들을 요에 눕혀 가지고 예수가 계시다는 곳을 찾아 그리로 데려 왔다.
They ran throughout that whole region and carried the sick on mats to wherever they heard he was.
56 마을이나 도시나 농촌이나 어디든지 예수께서 가시기만 하면 사람들은 병자들을 장터에 데려다 놓고 그 옷자락만이라도 만지게 해 달라고 간청하였다. 그리고 손을 댄 사람은 모두 나았다.
And wherever he went--into villages, towns or countryside--they placed the sick in the marketplaces. They begged him to let them touch even the edge of his cloak, and all who touched him were healed.

다윗의 주님 사랑하는 마음을 닮게하시고 야훼의 영광이 가득한 하루 되게하소서
