2005년 12월 15일 성서말씀

이사야 56:1-3, 6-8
1 야훼께서 말씀하신다. "너희는 바른 길을 걷고 옳게 살아라. 나 너희를 구하러 왔다. 나의 승리가 나타날 때가 왔다." This is what the LORD says: "Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand and my righteousness will soon be revealed.
2 복되어라, 옳게 사는 사람, 옳은 길을 끝내 지키는 사람, 안식일을 속되지 않게 잘 지키는 사람, 온갖 악에서 손을 떼는 사람. Blessed is the man who does this, the man who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil."
3 야훼께로 개종한 외국인은 "야훼께서 나를 당신의 백성에게서 제명시키리라" 고 걱정하지 말라. 고자들도 "나는 마른 나무 같은 신세구나" 하고 염려하지 말라.
Let no foreigner who has bound himself to the LORD say, "The LORD will surely exclude me from his people." And let not any eunuch complain, "I am only a dry tree."
(4 야훼께서 말씀하신다. "고자라도 나의 안식일을 지키고 나의 뜻에 맞는 일만 하고 나의 계약을 굳게 지키면, For this is what the LORD says: "To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, who choose what pleases me and hold fast to my covenant--
5 나의 집, 나의 울 안에 그들의 송덕비를 세워 주리라. 어떤 아들 딸이 그보다 나은 이름을 남기랴! 나 그들에게 영원히 지워지지 않을 이름을 주리라.
to them I will give within my temple and its walls a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off.)
6 외국인들도 야훼에게로 개종하여 나를 섬기고, 야훼라는 이름을 사랑하여 나의 종이 되어 안식일을 속되지 않게 지키고 나의 계약을 지키기만 하면,
And foreigners who bind themselves to the LORD to serve him, to love the name of the LORD, and to worship him, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant--
7 나는 그들을 나의 거룩한 산에 불러다가 나의 기도처에서 기쁜 나날을 보내게 하리라. 그들이 나의 제단에 바치는 번제물과 희생제물을 내가 즐겨 받으리라. 나의 집은 뭇 백성이 모여 기도하는 집이라 불리리라." these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations."
8 쫓겨났던 이스라엘 사람들을 모아 들이신 나의 주 야훼께서 이미 모아 들인 이 사람들 외에도 모아 들일 사람이 또 있다고 말씀하신다. The Sovereign LORD declares--he who gathers the exiles of Israel: "I will gather still others to them besides those already gathered."

시편 67
(For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A psalm. A song.)
1 하나님, 우리를 어여삐 보시고, 축복을 내리소서. 웃는 얼굴을 우리에게 보여 주소서.
May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine upon us, Selah
2 세상이 당신의 길을 알게 하시고 만방이 당신의 구원을 깨닫게 하소서.
that your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations.
3 하나님, 백성들이 당신을 찬양하게 하소서. 만백성이 당신을 찬양하게 하소서.
May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you.
4 당신께서 열방을 공평하게 다스리시고 온 세상 백성들을 인도하심을 만백성이 기뻐 노래하며 기리게 하소서. May the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you rule the peoples justly and guide the nations of the earth. Selah
5 하나님, 백성들이 당신을 찬양하게 하소서. 만백성이 당신을 찬양하게 하소서.
May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you.
6 땅에서 오곡백과 거두었으니 하나님, 우리 하나님의 축복이라.
Then the land will yield its harvest, and God, our God, will bless us.
7 하나님, 우리에게 축복하소서. 온 세상 땅 끝까지 당신을 두려워하게 하소서.
God will bless us, and all the ends of the earth will fear him.

요한복음 5:33-36
33 너희가 요한에게 사람을 보냈을 때에 요한은 진리를 증언하였다.
"You have sent to John and he has testified to the truth.
34 나에게는 사람의 증언이 소용없으나 다만 너희의 구원을 위해서 이 말을 하는 것이다.
Not that I accept human testimony; but I mention it that you may be saved.
35 요한은 환하게 타오르는 등불이었다. 너희는 한때 그 빛을 보고 대단히 좋아했다.
John was a lamp that burned and gave light, and you chose for a time to enjoy his light.
36 그런데 나에게는 요한의 증언보다 훨씬 더 나은 증언이 있다. 지금 내가 하고 있는 일은 아버지께서 나에게 성취하라고 맡겨 주신 일인데 그것이 바로 아버지께서 나를 보내셨다는 증거가 된다.
"I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the very work that the Father has given me to finish, and which I am doing, testifies that the Father has sent me.


시편

7 나는 그들을 나의 거룩한 산에 불러다가 나의 기도처에서 기쁜 나날을 보내게 하리라. 그들이 나의 제단에 바치는 번제물과 희생제물을 내가 즐겨 받으리라. 나의 집은 뭇 백성이 모여 기도하는 집이라 불리리라." these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. '내가 지금하고 있는 일이 바로 아버지께서 나를 보내셨다는 증거이다.' 라는 예수님의 말씀처럼 우리의 삶 자체가 바로 하느님을 증거하는 삶이 되기를 소망하며 기도합니다.
