2005년 5월 5일 성서말씀 승천일

사도행전 1:1-11  
1 이 책을 데오필로님께 드린다. 나는 먼젓번 책에서 예수의 모든 행적과 가르치심을 다 기록하였다.
In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach
2 곧 예수께서 당신이 뽑으신 사도들에게 성령의 힘으로 여러 가지 지시를 내리신 다음 승천하신 그 날까지의 일을 시초에서부터 낱낱이 기록하였다. until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.
3 예수께서는 돌아 가신 뒤에 다시 살아나셔서 사십 일 동안 사도들에게 자주 나타나시어 여러 가지 확실한 증거로써 당신이 여전히 살아 계시다는 것을 보여 주시며 하나님 나라에 관한 말씀을 들려 주셨다. After his suffering, he showed himself to these men and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.
4 예수께서는 사도들과 함께 계신 자리에서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "너희는 예루살렘을 떠나지 말고 내가 전에 일러 준 아버지의 약속을 기다려라.
On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.
5 요한은 물로 세례를 베풀었지만 오래지 않아 너희는 성령으로 세례를 받게 될 것이다."
For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."
6 사도들은 다 같이 모인 자리에서 예수께 이렇게 물었다. "주님, 주님께서 이스라엘 왕국을 다시 세워 주실 때가 바로 지금입니까?" So when they met together, they asked him, "Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?"
7 예수께서는 이렇게 대답하셨다. "그 때와 시기는 아버지께서 당신의 권능으로 결정하셨으니 너희가 알 바 아니다. He said to them: "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.
8 그러나 성령이 너희에게 오시면 너희는 힘을 받아 예루살렘과 온 유다와 사마리아뿐만 아니라 땅 끝에 이르기까지 어디에서나 나의증인이 될 것이다."
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
9 예수께서는 이 말씀을 하시고 사도들이 보는 앞에서 승천하셨는데 마침내 구름에 싸여 그 모습이 보이지 않게 되셨다.
After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.
10 예수께서 하늘로 올라 가시는 동안 그들은 하늘만을 쳐다보고 있었다. 그 때 흰 옷을 입은 사람 둘이 갑자기 그들 앞에 나타나서 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them.
11 이렇게 말했다. "갈릴래아 사람들아, 왜 너희는 여기에 서서 하늘만 쳐다보고 있느냐? 너희 곁을 떠나 승천하신 저 예수께서는 너희가 보는 앞에서 하늘로 올라가시던 그 모양으로 다시 오실 것이다."  "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."


시편 47  
1 너희 만백성아, 손뼉을 쳐라, 기쁜 소리 드높이 하나님께 환호하여라.  For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy.
2 야훼는 지존하시고 지엄하시다. 온 누리의 크신 임금이시다.
How awesome is the LORD Most High, the great King over all the earth!
3 우리 앞에 만민을 무릎 꿇리시고 뭇 민족을 우리 발 아래 두셨다.
He subdued nations under us, peoples under our feet.
4 당신의 사랑, 야곱의 자랑거리, 이 땅을 우리에게 손수 골라 주셨다.
He chose our inheritance for us, the pride of Jacob, whom he loved. Selah
5 환호 소리 높은 중에 하나님, 오르신다. 나팔 소리 나는 중에 야훼, 올라 가신다.
God has ascended amid shouts of joy, the LORD amid the sounding of trumpets.
6 찬미하여라 하나님을, 거룩한 시로 찬미하여라. 찬양하여라 우리 왕을, 거룩한 시로 찬양하여라.
Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises.
7 하나님은 온 땅의 임금이시니, 멋진 가락에 맞추어 찬양하여라.
For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise.
8 하나님은 만방의 왕, 거룩한 옥좌에 앉으셨다.
God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne.
9 세상의 통치자들을 한 손에 잡고, 끝없이 높으신 우리 하나님, 아브라함의 하나님, 그 백성과 더불어 뭇 나라의 영수들이 모여든다.
The nobles of the nations assemble as the people of the God of Abraham, for the kings of the earth belong to God; he is greatly exalted.

에페소서 1:15-23
15 나는 여러분이 주 예수를 충실히 믿으며 모든 성도들을 사랑한다는 소식을 듣고
For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,
16 기도할 때마다 언제나 여러분을 기억하며 하나님께 감사를 드리고있습니다.
I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.
17 나는 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 하나님, 영광스러운 아버지께서 여러분에게 영적인 지혜와 통찰력을 내려 주셔서 하나님을 참으로 알게 하시고
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
18 또 여러분의 마음의 눈을 밝혀 주셔서 하나님의 백성이 된 여러분이 무엇을 바랄 것인지 또 성도들과 함께 여러분이 물려받을 축복이 얼마나 놀랍고 큰 것인지를 알게 하여 주시기 바랍니다.
I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,
19 그리고 우리 믿는 사람들 속에서 강한 힘으로 활동하시는 하나님의 능력이 얼마나 위대한지를 여러분에게 알게 하여 주시기를 빕니다. and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength,
20 하나님께서는 그 능력을 떨치시어 그리스도를 죽은 자들 가운데서다시 살려 내시고 하늘 나라에 불러 올리셔서 당신의 오른편에 앉히시고 which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,
21 권세와 세력과 능력과 주권의 여러 천신들을 지배하게 하시고 또 현세와 내세의 모든 권력자들 위에 올려 놓으셨습니다. far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.
22 하나님께서는 만물을 그리스도의 발 아래 굴복시키셨으며 그분을 교회의 머리로 삼으셔서 모든 것을 지배하게 하셨습니다. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church,
23 교회는 그리스도의 몸이며 만물을 완성하시는 분의 계획이 그 안에서 완전히 이루어집니다.
which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

루가복음 24:44-53
44 그리고 그들에게 "내가 전에 너희와 함께 있을 때에도 말했거니와모세의 율법과 예언서와 시편에 나를 두고 한 말씀은 반드시 다 이루어져야 한다" 하시고
He said to them, "This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms."
45 성서를 깨닫게 하시려고 그들의 마음을 열어 주시며
Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.
46 "성서의 기록을 보면 그리스도는 고난을 받고 죽었다가 사흘만에 다시 살아난다고 하였다.
He told them, "This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day,
47 그리고 그리스도의 이름으로 회개하면 죄를 용서받는다는 기쁜 소식이 예루살렘에서 비롯하여 모든 민족에게 전파된다고 하였다. and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
48 너희는 이 모든 일의 증인이다.
You are witnesses of these things.
49 나는 내 아버지께서 약속하신 것을 너희에게 보내 주겠다. 그러니너희는 위에서 오는 능력을 받을 때까지 예루살렘에 머물러 있어라" 하고 말씀하셨다.
I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high."
50 예수께서 그들을 베다니아 근처로 데리고 나가셔서 두 손을 들어 축복해 주셨다.
When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them.
51 이렇게 축복하시면서 그들을 떠나 하늘로 올라 가셨다.
While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven.
52 그들은 엎드려 예수께 경배하고 기쁨에 넘쳐 예루살렘으로 돌아가
Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.
53 날마다 성전에서 하나님을 찬미하며 지냈다.
And they stayed continually at the temple, praising God.
