사도행전 13:44-52
44 그 다음 안식일에는 온 동네 사람이 거의 다 주님의 말씀을 들으려고 모여들었다.
On the next Sabbath almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord.
45 그 군중을 본 유다인들은 시기심이 북받쳐서 바울로가 한 말을 반대하며 욕설을 퍼부었다.
When the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and talked abusively against what Paul was saying.
46 그러나 바울로와 바르나바는 담대하게 이렇게 대꾸하였다. "우리는 하나님의 말씀을 먼저 당신들에게 전하지 않을 수가 없었습니다. 그런데도 당신들은 그것을 거부하고 그 영원한 생명을 받을 만한 자격이 없다고 스스로 판단하고 있으니 우리는 당신들을 떠나서 이방인들에게로 갑니다.
Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: "We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.
47 주께서 우리에게, '나는 너를 이방인의 빛으로 삼았으니 너는 땅 끝까지 구원의 등불이 되어라' 고 명령하셨습니다." For this is what the Lord has commanded us: "'I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.'"
48 바울로의 말을 듣고 이방인들은 기뻐하며 주님의 말씀을 찬양하였으며 영원한 생명을 얻도록 작정된 사람들은 모두 신도가 되었다.
When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed.
49 이리하여 주님의 말씀이 그 지방에 두루 퍼져 나갔다.
The word of the Lord spread through the whole region.
50 그러나 유다인들은 이방 출신으로서 하나님을 공경하는 귀부인들과 도시의 유지들을 선동하여 바울로와 바르나바를 박해하게 하고 그 지방에서 두 사람을 쫓아냈다.
But the Jews incited the God-fearing women of high standing and the leading men of the city. They stirred up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their region.
51 두 사도는 그들에게 항의하는 뜻으로 발의 먼지를 털어 버리고 이고니온으로 갔다.
So they shook the dust from their feet in protest against them and went to Iconium.
52 안티오키아의 신도들은 기쁨과 성령으로 가득 차 있었다.
And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.

시편 98:1-5
1 새 노래로 야훼를 찬양하여라. 놀라운 기적들을 이루셨다. 그의 오른손과 거룩하신 팔로 승리하셨다.  A psalm. Sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done marvelous things; his right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.
2 야훼께서 그 거두신 승리를 알려 주시고 당신의 정의를 만백성 앞에 드러내셨다.
The LORD has made his salvation known and revealed his righteousness to the nations.
3 이스라엘 가문에 베푸신다던 그 사랑과 그 진실을 잊지 않으셨으므로 땅 끝까지 모든 사람이 우리 하나님의 승리를 보게 되었다.
He has remembered his love and his faithfulness to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4 온 세상아, 야훼께 환성을 올려라. 기뻐하며 목청껏 노래하여라.
Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music;
5 거문고를 뜯으며 야훼께 노래 불러라. 수금과 많은 악기 타며 찬양하여라.
make music to the LORD with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing,

요한복음 14:7-14
7 너희가 나를 알았으니 나의 아버지도 알게 될 것이다. 이제부터 너희는 그분을 알게 되었다. 아니 이미 뵈었다" 하고 말씀하셨다. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."
8 이번에는 필립보가 "주님, 저희에게 아버지를 뵙게 하여 주시면 더 바랄 것이 없겠습니다" 하고 간청하였다.
Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us."
9 예수께서는 이렇게 대답하셨다. "필립보야, 들어라. 내가 이토록 오랫동안 너희와 같이 지냈는데도 너는 나를 모른다는 말이냐? 나를 보았으면 곧 아버지를 본 것이다. 그런데도 아버지를 뵙게 해 달라니 무슨 말이냐?
Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?
10 너는 내가 아버지 안에 있고 아버지께서 내 안에 계시다는 것을 믿지 않느냐? 내가 너희에게 하는 말도 나 스스로 하는 말이 아니라 아버지께서 내 안에 계시면서 몸소 하시는 일이다.
Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.
11 내가 아버지 안에 있고 아버지께서 내 안에 계시다고 한 말을 믿어라. 못 믿겠거든 내가 하는 이 일들을 보아서라도 믿어라.
Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves.
12 정말 잘 들어 두어라. 나를 믿는 사람은 내가 하는 일을 할 뿐만 아니라 그보다 더 큰 일도 하게 될 것이다. 그것은 내가 이제 아버지께 가서
I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
13 너희가 내 이름으로 구하는 것이면 무엇이든지 이루어 주겠기 때문이다. 그러면 아들로 말미암아 아버지께서 영광을 받으실 것이다.
And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.
14 너희가 내 이름으로 구하는 것이면 무엇이든지 다 내게 이루어 주겠다."
You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
