히브리서 2:14-18
14 자녀들은 다 같이 피와 살을 가지고 있으므로 예수께서도 그들과 같은 피와 살을 가지고 오셨다가 죽으심으로써 죽음의 세력을 잡은 자 곧 악마를 멸망시키시고
Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death--that is, the devil--
15 한평생 죽음의 공포에 싸여 살던 사람들을 해방시켜 주셨습니다.
and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.
16 예수께서는 천사들을 보살펴 주신 것이 아니라 분명히 아브라함의 후손들을 보살펴 주셨습니다.
For surely it is not angels he helps, but Abraham's descendants.
17 그러므로 그분은 모든 점에서 당신의 형제들과 같아지셔야만 했습니다. 그래서 자비롭고 진실한 대사제로서 하나님을 섬길 수가 있었고 따라서 백성들의 죄를 없이 할 수 있었습니다.
For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.
18 그분은 친히 유혹을 받으시고 고난을 당하셨기 때문에 유혹을 받는 모든 사람을 도와 주실 수 있으십니다. Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

시편 105:1-9
1 야훼께 감사하며 그 이름 높이 불러라. 그 장하신 일들을 만방에 알려라.
Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done.
2 그분께 노래 불러라, 수금 타며 노래 불러 드려라. 놀라운 그 일들을 이야기하여라.
Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts.
3 그 거룩하신 이름을 자랑하여라. 야훼 찾는 마음에 기쁨 있어라.
Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.
4 야훼를 찾아라, 그의 힘을 빌어라. 잠시도 그의 곁을 떠나지 말아라.
Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.
5 얼마나 묘한 일들 하셨는지 생각들 하여라. 그의 기적들, 그 입으로 내리신 판단을 명심하여라.
Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,
6 그의 종 아브라함의 후손들아, 그가 뽑으신 야곱의 자손들아,
O descendants of Abraham his servant, O sons of Jacob, his chosen ones.
7 그분이 바로 야훼 우리 하나님, 온 세상을 바로 다스리시는 분이시다.
He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
8 계약을 맺으시며 만대에 내리신 말씀 영원히 잊지 아니하신다.
He remembers his covenant forever, the word he commanded, for a thousand generations,
9 아브라함과 맺으신 계약, 이사악과 맹세하셨다.
the covenant he made with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac.


마르코 복음 1:29-39
29 얼마 뒤에 예수께서 회당에서 나와 야고보와 요한과 함께 시몬과 안드레아의 집에 들어 가셨다.
As soon as they left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the home of Simon and Andrew.
30 때마침 시몬의 장모가 열병으로 누워 있었는데 사람들이 그 사정을 예수께 알렸다.
Simon's mother-in-law was in bed with a fever, and they told Jesus about her.
31 예수께서 그 부인 곁으로 가서 손을 잡아 일으키시자 열이 내리고 부인은 그들의 시중을 들었다.
So he went to her, took her hand and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them.
32 해가 지고 날이 저물었을 때에 사람들이 병자와 마귀들린 사람들을 모두 예수께 데려 왔으며
That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed.
33 온 동네 사람들이 문 앞에 모여들었다.
The whole town gathered at the door,
34 예수께서는 온갖 병자들을 고쳐 주시고 많은 마귀를 쫓아내시며 자기 일을 입밖에 내지 말라고 당부하셨다. 마귀들은 예수가 누구신지를 알고 있었기 때문이다.
and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was.
35 다음 날 새벽 예수께서는 먼동이 트기 전에 일어나 외딴 곳으로 가시어 기도하고 계셨다.
Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
36 그 때 시몬의 일행이 예수를 찾아다니다가
Simon and his companions went to look for him,
37 만나서 "모두들 선생님을 찾고 있습니다" 하고 말하였다.
and when they found him, they exclaimed: "Everyone is looking for you!"
38 예수께서는 그들에게 "이 근방 다음 동네에도 가자. 거기에서도 전도해야 한다. 나는 이 일을 하러 왔다" 하고 말씀하셨다.
Jesus replied, "Let us go somewhere else--to the nearby villages--so I can preach there also. That is why I have come."
39 이렇게 갈릴래아 지방을 두루 찾아 여러 회당에서 전도하시며 마귀를 쫓아내셨다.
So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.

+ 우리와 한 형제가 되셔서 죽으심으로써 자비롭고 진실한 대사제가 되시어 한평생 죽음의 공포에 싸여 살던 우리들을 해방시켜 주신 주님, 당신의 거룩하신 이름을 자랑합니다. 당신을 찾는 우리의 마음에 기쁨을 주시는 주님, 온 마음과 온 힘을 다하여 주님을 찾는 저희들이 되게 하시고 잠시도 당신 곁을 떠나지 않게 하셔서 당신의 힘을 받는 저희들이 되게 하소서. 예수님처럼 바쁜 일상가운데 기도하는 저희가 되게 하시고 복음을 전하는 저희가 될 수 있도록 성령 충만함과 지혜를 허락해 주소서. 아멘
