1고린 2:10-16
10 하나님께서는 그 지혜를 성령을 통하여 우리에게 나타내 보이셨습니다. 성령께서는 하나님의 깊은 경륜에 이르기까지 모든 것을 다 통찰하십니다. but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
11 사람의 생각은 그 사람 속에 있는 마음만이 알 수 있듯이 하나님의 생각은 하나님의 성령만이 아실 수 있습니다. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
12 우리가 받은 성령은 세상이 준 것이 아니라 하나님께서 주신 것입니다. 그래서 우리는 하나님께서 우리에게 주시는 은총의 선물을 깨달아 알게 되었습니다.
We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.
13 우리는 그 은총의 선물을 전하는 데 있어서도 인간이 가르쳐 주는 지혜로운 말로 하지 않고 성령께서 가르쳐 주시는 말씀으로 합니다. 이렇게 우리는 영적인 것을 영적인 표현으로 설명합니다.
This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.
14 그러나 영적이 아닌 사람은 하나님의 성령께서 주신 것을 받아들이지 않습니다. 그런 사람에게는 그것이 어리석게만 보입니다. 그리고 영적인 것은 영적으로만 이해할 수 있으므로 그런 사람은 그것을 이해하지도 못합니다.
The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 영적인 사람은 무엇이나 판단할 수 있지만 그 사람 자신은 아무에게서도 판단 받지 않습니다.The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment:
16 성서에는 "누가 주님의 생각을 알아서 그분의 의논 상대가 되겠느냐?" 고 하였지만 우리는 그리스도의 생각을 알고 있습니다. "For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ.

시편 145:10-17
10 야훼여, 당신의 온갖 피조물들이 감사노래 부르고 신도들이 당신을 찬양하게 하소서.
All you have made will praise you, O LORD; your saints will extol you.
11 그들이 당신 나라의 영광을 들어 말하고 당신의 공적을 이야기하게 하소서.
They will tell of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might,
12 그리하여 당신의 공적을 사람에게 알리고 당신 나라의 그 찬란한 영광을 알리게 하소서.
so that all men may know of your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
13 당신의 나라는 영원한 나라, 당신만이 만세에 왕이십니다. 야훼의 말씀은 언제나 진실되고, 그 하시는 일 모두 사랑의 업적이다.
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made.
14 누구나 쓰러지면 붙들어 주시고 거꾸러지면 일으켜 주신다.
The LORD upholds all those who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.
15 모든 눈들이 당신만 쳐다보고 기다립니다. 철을 따라 양식을 주실 분 당신밖에 없사옵니다.
The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time.
16 당신께서 손만 벌리시면 살아 있는 모든 것 원대로 배부릅니다.
You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.
17 야훼 가시는 길은 언제나 바르시고, 그 하시는 일 모두 사랑의 업적이다.
The LORD is righteous in all his ways and loving toward all he has made.

루가복음 4:31-37
31 그 뒤 예수께서는 갈릴래아의 마을 가파르나움으로 내려 가셨다. 거기에서도 안식일에 사람들을 가르치셨는데 Then he went down to Capernaum, a town in Galilee, and on the Sabbath began to teach the people.
32 그 말씀에 권위가 있었기 때문에 듣는 사람마다 그 가르치심에 경탄하여 마지 않았다.
They were amazed at his teaching, because his message had authority.
33 때마침 그 회당에 더러운 마귀가 들린 한 사람이 와 있다가 큰 소리로 In the synagogue there was a man possessed by a demon, an evil spirit. He cried out at the top of his voice,
34 "나자렛 예수님, 왜 우리를 간섭하시려는 것입니까? 우리를 없애려고 오셨습니까? 나는 당신이 누구신지 압니다. 하나님께서 보내신 거룩한 분이십니다" 하고 외쳤다.
"Ha! What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are--the Holy One of God!"
35 예수께서는 "입을 다물고 이 사람에게서 썩 나가거라" 하고 꾸짖으셨다. 그러자 마귀는 사람들이 보는 앞에서 그 사람을 쓰러뜨리고 떠나갔다. 그러나 그 사람은 아무런 상처도 입지 않았다.
"Be quiet!" Jesus said sternly. "Come out of him!" Then the demon threw the man down before them all and came out without injuring him.
36 이것을 본 사람들은 모두 놀라며 "정말 그 말씀은 신기하구나! 권위와 능력을 가지고 명령하시니 더러운 귀신들이 다 물러가지 않는가!" 하면서 서로 수군거렸다.
All the people were amazed and said to each other, "What is this teaching? With authority and power he gives orders to evil spirits and they come out!"
37 예수의 이야기가 그 지방 방방곡곡에 퍼져 나갔다.
And the news about him spread throughout the surrounding area.
