2베드로 1:2-7
예수 그리스도의 종이며 사도인 나 시몬 베드로는 우리의 하나님 이시며 구세주이신 예수 그리스도의 정의를 힘입어 귀중한 믿음을우리와 함께 간직하게 된 여러분에게 이 편지를 씁니다.
Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours:
2 하나님과 우리 주 예수를 알게 됨으로써 은총과 평화를 충만하게 받으시기를 빕니다.
Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
3 그리스도께서는 당신이 가지신 하나님의 능력으로 우리에게 경건한 생활을 하는 데 필요한 모든 것을 주셨습니다. 그래서 우리를 부르셔서 당신의 영광과 능력을 누리게 하신 그분을 알게 해 주셨습니다.
His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
4 우리는 그 영광과 능력을 힘입어 귀중하고 가장 훌륭한 약속을 받았습니다. 여러분은 그 덕분으로 정욕에서 나오는 이 세상의 부패에서 멀리 떠나 하나님의 본성을 나누어 받게 되었습니다.
Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
5 그러니 여러분은 열성을 다하여 믿음에 미덕을 더하고, 미덕에 지식을,
For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;
6 지식에 절제를, 절제에 인내를, 인내에 경건을,
and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;
7 경건에 교우끼리의 사랑을, 교우끼리의 사랑에 만민에 대한 사랑을 더하십시오.
and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.

시편 91:1-2, 14-16
1 지존하신 분의 거처에 몸을 숨기고 전능하신 분의 그늘 아래 머무는 사람아,
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 야훼께서 네 피난처시요 내 요새이시며 네가 의지하는 너의 하나님이라고 말하여라.
I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
14 "나에게 부르짖는 자를 내가 건져 주며 나의 이름을 아는 자를 내가 높여 주리라.
"Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 나를 부르는 자에게 대답해 주고 환난중에 그와 함께 있으리니 나는 그를 건져 주고 높여 주리라.
He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
16 그로 하여금 마음껏 오래 살게 하고 나의 구원을 그에게 보여 주리라."
With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."

마르코복음 12:1-12
1 예수께서 비유를 들어 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "어떤 사람이 포도원을 하나 만들어 울타리를 둘러 치고는 포도즙을 짜는 확을 파고 망대를 세웠다. 그리고 소작인들에게 그것을 도지로 주고 멀리 떠나 갔다.
He then began to speak to them in parables: "A man planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a pit for the winepress and built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and went away on a journey.
2 포도철이 되자 그는 포도원의 도조를 받아 오라고 종 하나를 소작인들에게 보냈다.
At harvest time he sent a servant to the tenants to collect from them some of the fruit of the vineyard.
3 그런데 소작인들은 그 종을 붙잡아 때리고는 빈손으로 돌려 보냈다.
But they seized him, beat him and sent him away empty-handed.
4 주인이 다른 종을 또 보냈더니 그들은 그 종도 머리를 쳐서 상처를 입히며 모욕을 주었다.
Then he sent another servant to them; they struck this man on the head and treated him shamefully.
5 주인이 또 다른 종을 보냈더니 이번에는 그 종을 죽여 버렸다. 그래서 더 많은 종을 보냈으나 그들은 이번에도 종들을 때리고 더러는 죽였다.
He sent still another, and that one they killed. He sent many others; some of them they beat, others they killed.
6 주인이 보낼 사람이 아직 하나 더 있었는데 그것은 그의 사랑하는아들이었다. 마지막으로 주인은 '내 아들이야 알아 주겠지' 하며 아들을 보냈다. "He had one left to send, a son, whom he loved. He sent him last of all, saying, 'They will respect my son.'
7 그러나 소작인들은 '저게 상속자다. 자, 죽여 버리자. 그러면 이 포도원은 우리 차지가 될 것이다' 하며 서로 짜고는 "But the tenants said to one another, 'This is the heir. Come, let's kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.'
8 그를 잡아 죽이고 포도원 밖으로 내어 던졌다.
So they took him and killed him, and threw him out of the vineyard.
9 이렇게 되면 주인은 어떻게 하겠느냐? 그는 돌아 와서 그 소작인들을 죽여 버리고 포도원을 다른 사람에게 맡길 것이다. "What then will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and kill those tenants and give the vineyard to others.
10 너희는 성서에서, '집 짓는 사람들이 버린 돌이 모퉁이의 머릿돌이 되었다.
Haven't you read this scripture: "'The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone;
11 주께서 하시는 일이라 우리에게는 놀랍게만 보인다' 고 한 말을 읽어 본 일이 없느냐?"
the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes'?"
12 이 비유를 들은 사람들은 그것이 자기들을 두고 하신 말씀인 것을알고 예수를 잡으려 하였으나 군중이 무서워서 예수를 그대로 두고 떠나 갔다.
Then they looked for a way to arrest him because they knew he had spoken the parable against them. But they were afraid of the crowd; so they left him and went away.
