사도행전 20:17-27
17 밀레도스에서 바울로는 에페소에 사람을 보내어 그 교회 원로들을 불렀다.
From Miletus he sent a message to Ephesus, asking the elders of the church to meet him.
18 원로들이 오자 바울로는 이렇게 말하였다. "여러분은 내가 아시아에 발을 들여놓은 첫날부터 지금까지 여러분과 함께 어떻게 지내 왔는지를 잘 알고 있습니다.
When they came to him, he said to them: "You yourselves know how I lived among you the entire time from the first day that I set foot in Asia,
19 나는 유다인들의 음모로 여러 차례 시련을 겪으면서도 눈물을 머금고 온갖 굴욕을 참아 가며 주님을 섬겨 왔습니다. serving the Lord with all humility and with tears, enduring the trials that came to me through the plots of the Jews.
20 그리고 여러분에게 유익한 것이라면 하나도 빼놓지 않고 공중 앞에서나 여러분의 가정에서 전하며 가르쳤습니다. I did not shrink from doing anything helpful, proclaiming the message to you and teaching you publicly and from house to house,
21 그리고 유다인에게나 이방인에게나 똑같이 회개하고 하나님께 돌아 와 우리 주 예수를 믿어야 한다고 애써 권면하였던 것입니다. as I testified to both Jews and Greeks about repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus.
22 이제 나는 성령의 지시를 따라 예루살렘으로 올라가는 길인데 거기에 가면 나에게 무슨 일이 닥칠지 모릅니다. And now, as a captive to the Spirit, I am on my way to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there,
23 다만 내가 아는 것은 내가 어느 도시에 들어가든지 투옥과 고통이 나를 기다리고 있다는 것을 성령께서 나에게 일러 주신다는 사실입니다. except that the Holy Spirit testifies to me in every city that imprisonment and persecutions are waiting for me.
24 그러나 내 사명을 완수하고 하나님의 은총의 복음을 전하라고 주 예수께서 나에게 맡겨 주신 임무를 다할 수 만 있다면 나는 조금도 목숨을 아끼지 않겠습니다.
But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God's grace.
25 나는 이제 분명히 압니다. 여러분은 모두 내 얼굴을 다시는 보지 못하게 될 것입니다. 내가 여러분과 함께 지내는 동안 하나님 나라를 줄곧 선포하였으니 "And now I know that none of you, among whom I have gone about proclaiming the kingdom, will ever see my face again.
26 앞으로 여러분 가운데 누가 멸망하게 되더라도 나에게는 아무런 책임이 없다는 것을 이 자리에서 분명히 말해 두는 바입니다.
Therefore I declare to you this day that I am not responsible for the blood of any of you,
27 나는 하나님의 모든 계획을 남김없이 여러분에게 전해 주었습니다.
for I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole purpose of God.

시편 68:9-10, 19-21
9 하나님, 당신은 단비를 충족히 내리시어 당신께서 주신 메마른 땅을 옥토로 만드시고
Rain in abundance, O God, you showered abroad; you restored your heritage when it languished;
10 당신의 식구들로 하여금 거기에 살게 하셨으니, 하나님, 당신의 어지심으로써 굶주린 자에게 먹을 것을 마련해 주셨습니다.
your flock found a dwelling in it; in your goodness, O God, you provided for the needy.

19 날마다 주를 찬양하여라. 우리의 구원이신 하나님께서 우리 짐을 져 주신다.
Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears us up; God is our salvation. Selah
20 우리가 모시는 하나님은 구원의 하나님, 죽음에서 빠져 나가는 길을 주 야훼뿐
Our God is a God of salvation, and to GOD, the Lord, belongs escape from death.
21 하나님께서 원수들의 머리를 부수시고, 악을 퍼뜨리고 다니는 자들 그들의 더부룩한 골통을 바수신다. But God will shatter the heads of his enemies, the hairy crown of those who walk in their guilty ways.

요한복음 17:1-11
1 이 말씀을 마치시고 예수께서는 하늘을 우러러 보시며 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "아버지, 때가 왔습니다. 아들의 영광을 드러내 주시어 아들이 아버지의 영광을 드러내게 하여 주십시오.
After Jesus had spoken these words, he looked up to heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son so that the Son may glorify you,
2 아버지께서는 아들에게 모든 사람을 다스릴 권한을 주셨고 따라서 아들은 아버지께서 맡겨 주신 모든 사람에게 영원한 생명을 주게 되었습니다. since you have given him authority over all people, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him.
3 영원한 생명은 곧 참되시고 오직 한 분이신 하나님 아버지를 알고 또 아버지께서 보내신 예수 그리스도를 아는 것입니다.
And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
4 나는 아버지께서 나에게 맡겨 주신 일을 다 하여 세상에서 아버지의 영광을 드러냈습니다.
I glorified you on earth by finishing the work that you gave me to do.
5 아버지, 이제는 나의 영광을 드러내 주십시오. 세상이 있기 전에 아버지 곁에서 내가 누리던 그 영광을 아버지와 같이 누리게 하여주십시오."
So now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had in your presence before the world existed.
6 "나는 아버지께서 세상 사람들 가운데서 뽑아 내게 맡겨 주신 이 사람들에게 아버지를 분명히 알려 주었습니다. 이 사람들은 본래 아버지의 사람들이었지만 내게 맡겨 주셨습니다. 이 사람들은 과연 아버지의 말씀을 잘 지키었습니다.
"I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word.
7 지금 이 사람들은 나에게 주신 모든 것이 아버지께로부터 왔다는 것을 알고 있습니다.
Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you.
8 나는 나에게 주신 말씀을 이 사람들에게 전하였습니다. 이 사람들은 그 말씀을 받아 들였고 내가 아버지께로부터 온 것을 참으로 깨달았으며 아버지께서 나를 보내신 것을 믿었습니다.
For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.
9 나는 이 사람들을 위하여 간구합니다. 세상을 위하여 간구하는 것이 아니라 아버지께서 내게 맡기신 이 사람들을 위하여 간구합니다. 이 사람들은 아버지의 사람들입니다. I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours.
10 나의 것은 다 아버지의 것이며 아버지의 것은 다 나의 것입니다. 그래서 이 사람들로 말미암아 내 영광이 나타났습니다.
All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them.
11 나는 이제 세상을 떠나 아버지께 돌아 가지만 이 사람들은 세상에남아 있을 것입니다. 거룩하신 아버지, 나에게 주신 아버지의 이름으로 이 사람들을 지켜 주십시오. 그리고 아버지와 내가 하나인 것처럼 이 사람들도 하나가 되게 하여 주십시오. I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name--the name you gave me--so that they may be one as we are one.
