저는 기도를 이해할 수 없습니다.

기도는 너무나도 개인적이고 너무나도 신비롭습니다.

어른들은 이유를 찾으려 노력하지만

아이들은 그렇지 않습니다.

단지 구할 뿐 입니다.

어떻게 작동하는지 캐내려 합니다.
하지만 기도는 생각으로 완벽하게 이해될 수 없습니다.
기도는 영으로 호흡해야 하며
삶 속에서 경험되어져야 합니다.

Far too many times we focus on the wrong thing
when it comes to prayer.
We try to understand it intellectually and
figure out how it works as if it were new technology,
but prayer cannot fully be comprehended in the mind.
It must be breathed in our souls and experienced in our lives.
