I was preparing my April update for you all and re-read my March Update. In doing so, it seems to me I never in fact sent the March version to the whole list! So, I am sending it here. If in fact it DID go to you all previously, I apologize. But I think it went to only one person.

Dear Friends...

Greetings and blessings to you! I am writing to renew, and for some of you begin, my monthly updates on what God is doing in and through GLOBAL TEAMS and your partnership with us. Though this is "blind copied" to a large list, I wanted to say just a word or two about who you all are:

This group of people includes prayer warriors, financial partners with our missionaries or with the GT movement as a whole, friends, family, people who have known us a long time, and people for whom GT is still new. Some of you volunteer, some are on the Board, some are members of our various teams. Some are in the field and some of you wish you could be there with them.

My intention in these updates is not to send long and elaborate mails to fill up your boxes. My hope is to encourage you, thank you, and bless you.

So, for this March update I will share just one story. I selected this because of the way it illustrates how we work to equip teams of missionaries from many different nations, and how God is using them to multiply disciples of Jesus within cultures that are least familiar with the Gospel.

- Costa Rica...
Several years ago I introduced our Latin America Director, Orlando Otarola, to a man in Chile who pastored a church. He had a young woman in his congregation who wanted to be a missionary. Her name was Veronica and she felt called to India.

- Chile...
Orlando worked with the pastor and other churches to help coordinate and prepare them to send Veronica. Veronica received GT's basic training in Spanish while visiting Costa Rica, she raised more than half her support within Chile.

- USA...
To improve her English, Veronica did an internship in the USA with GT. Not all missionaries need English for their ministry, of course, but in Veronica's case it was important for her to have enough English so that she could use it to learn Hindi. She also completed her pre-field training.  

- India...
Having completed all of this, Veronica made it to India. She is involved in a number of medical and other outreaches. On one such trip she met a man, a Muslim who had been trained as an Imam.

- Muslims...
Her new friend told his story: He had come to faith while reading the Qur'an, and through a number of events that God orchestrated in his life. But he found that, as a Muslim, he was not easily accepted by the Christian community. He was taught by the Lord many things about ministry and even planted some small congregations within his Muslim community. But he had little fellowship or contact or mentoring.

- SKYPE...
Veronica introduced him to me, and we began talking regularly on SKYPE in Urdu about ministry, leader training, and how the Lord wants to reach Muslims in India. I introduced this brother to our leaders in Pakistan, and now...

- Bangkok...
I have arranged for the leaders from the movement in Pakistan to meet this emerging leader of an emerging new movement in India. We will be together in Bangkok in a few weeks. Why Bangkok? Well, the political climate between Pakistan and India is such that meeting in either place was impossible. And, there is a large gathering of people from many nations coming together to share and learn from one another about how the King is growing His Kingdom.

I am amazed following the fingerprints of God through just this one, small story!

Pray for the time in Bangkok, please. Pray for encouragement and for new and fresh vision for ministry among Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists
